The Silver Anniversary Weekender Bag is a result of collaboration between the Jordan Brand & Cole Haan.  The bag is made of snow white pebbled leather, and is fully lined multi storage pockets & interior zip pocket. Features include 2-way main zipper, top leather handles and removable/adjustable shoulder strap, and matte brushed silver hardware.  The bag is extremely limited, as only 500 were made for worldwide distribution.

The University of North Carolina Authentic Silver Anniversary Jersey in White/Silver is the exact replica of the uniform that Michael wore when he won his first major championship of his career in 1982.  The jersey features special labeling to tie the championship moment and the 25th anniversary of the brand, chrome Jumpman circle on the left chest, and special neck taping with roman numerals 1 through 25, representing 25 years and 25 shoes.  Each jersey is numbered (xx/500), as only 500 jerseys were produced worldwide.

Adam Michael Goldstein, bka DJ AM, was one of the first celebrity sneakerheads, and gained fame as the DJ for the group, Crazytown, as well as becoming first “rockstar” status DJs in Hollywood/Vegas nightlife scene.  Adam left us way too early on August 28, 2009, but his energy and passion continues inspire us.

AND… we are proud to present the first Spizike release in over a year from the Jordan Brand, with the release of Spizike Mars… Fresh Since ‘85 Edition at 12 a.m., 1/9/10.

Inspired by the Spike Lee character, Mars Blackmon from 1985 Film, She’s Gotta Have It, this edition features all the famous lines that Mars uttered on unforgettable Jordan commercials from the late ’80s.  This shoe will be available in full family of sizes, from Toddler to Adults.

The wait is finally over, as MAJOR will give you the first chance to grab the most coveted Space Jams in person, at 12 a.m. (midnight) on December 23rd.  Just to give the last minute Christmas shoppers that extra time to shop, we will be open on December 22nd from 11 a.m. to Midnight.  As clock strike 12, and it’s officially December 23rd, we will sell the Retro XI Space Jam packages, which consist of a pair of Space Jam XI shoes in Grade School or Adult Sizes, and a MAJOR Space Jam 59Fifty Fitted by New Era.  All GS & Adult Sizes will be sold as a package, and there will be no exceptions.

One of the headliner release at Midnight Mayhem After Thanksgiving 2009 at MAJOR will be the Jordan Retro XII Flu Game.  This is the famous Jordan XII model that MJ wore on June 11th, 1997, during the Game 5 of the ‘97 NBA Finals.  Jordan single handedly carried his Bulls to victory that night, breaking the series tie with Utah at 2-2, despite suffering from a stomach flu that made him unable to stand up just a few hours before the game.

In honor of MJ’s efforts, Jordan Brand has lasered 97 (for the year), 38 (for the points he scored in the game), and a flu icon on the heel, as well as stitching the same sequence on the tongue.
