On December 17th, 2006 at Midnight, we gave birth to the first premium sneaker & streetwear boutique destination in Washington DC.  From the beginning MAJOR was a movement about sneakers, gear, fitteds, and attitude that exudes confidence & superiority.  From the very first New Era collab fitted to each one of our storied sneaker and gear collaborations, we have maintained the confidence that we are the Only Store That Matters.  All of you, the extended MAJOR family, have chosen us as the go-to destination, and supported us to remain at the top of people’s choice here in DC & worldwide.

To thank our nocturnal MAJOR family, we are holding a special sale event on Wednesday, December 16th, starting at 11 pm.  For 3 hours only (11 pm to 2 am), everything we have on the floor will be 30% off. On top of that, we will be dropping 2 collaborations with 2 very important brands, along with a fitted cap or two to celebrate this occasion.

It’s an annual tradition… MAJOR Midnight Mayhem Post-Thanksgiving Sale/Black Weekend Kickoff.

Once a year, we have a gigantic sale, where most of our in-store stock goes on sale, plus unlike other stores who try to lure you only with sale items, we do it the MAJOR way, and release all types of special releases and launches at midnight after Thanksgiving…

This year is no exception as we drop Jordan Retro XII, The Flu Game Fitted, Black Scale B-Logo Fitted, Nike x DJ Clark Kent Air Force 1 Hi Supreme, and Concepts x New Balance Freedom Trail Pack at 12 midnight.

Always the first to bring things to our MAJOR fam, and today we will world premiere the upcoming NBA Live 10 for Xbox 360 from EA Sports at MAJOR, from 5 pm to 7 pm!

The game comes out on October 6th (that’s almost 2 weeks away), but the good folks at EA Sports & Rugged Concepts (shouts out to Rugged Concepts & MAJOR’s head guy Duk-ki!) brought this opportunity for people to get their first gameplay on.

The game looks unbelievable, as all new graphics and most realistic gameplay ever compliments the evolution of the Dynamic DNA introduced last year.  And don’t forget the fact that all the new kicks are in the game, plus a banging soundtrack.

EA Sports NBA Live 10 & MAJOR… It’s In The Game!

You probably heard about the collaboration between our boys over at The Hundreds and SE Bikes to create the world’s first 26″ PK Ripper BMX Bike.  What you didn’t know was that MAJOR was going to GIVE away a bike to a lucky MAJOR shopper on August 26th, when we host The Hundreds x SE Bikes Release Event & Raffle Drawing at our Georgetown Showroom.

The evening’s activities will include the showing of the TH x SE PK Ripper, plus the drawing at the end of the evening to announce the winner of the MAJOR raffle contest.  During the event, you will see some of the classic pieces from The Hundreds, preserved from our archives in deadstock condition for sale, as well as giveaways from The Hundreds and MAJOR, along with free Amp energy drinks from our friends at Amp!

So hurry down to MAJOR to get those raffle tickets.  You can buy each raffle ticket for $25, or get 1 for every $50 MAJOR brand purchase (fitted caps & collabo tees), or $50 The Hundreds brand purchase.

Tuesday, August 11th will be a very special day for all the Madden fans in the DMV, as EA Sports, Rugged Concepts, and MAJOR presents the special XBox 360 Preview of the all new EA Sports Madden NFL 10.

The game will be available for sale everywhere on Friday, August 14th.  It will be offered in PS3, XBox 360, PSP, Wii and PS2 formats.  MAJOR will NOT be selling the games.

EA Sports partnered with MAJOR to bring you the special preview at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11th, 3 days before you can buy it.  The Only Store That Matters is the Only Store that will preview Madden NFL 10 first in the DMV.
