MAJORBACH V2.0 brings back the MAJOR alternate logo, inspired by one of the world’s leading luxury automobile companies. For the color scheme, we looked to no other than our favorite luxury leathergoods house from France, as our original version was inspired by the house colors of an Italian luxury leathergoods maker. We also wanted to put some grit in this particular fitted, as we get ready for fall, and we utilized cotton duck canvas material, just like the one’s that make up workman’s jackets and farmers coveralls.

Just like most of our fitteds, the picture doesn’t do justice to the quality and vibrance of the actual product. The front embroidery consists of chocolate brown background, with metallic gold MAJORBACH insignia, and metallic silver outline around it. The back embroidery is our iconic Trinity logo with metallic gold bars and brown stars, while the New Era flag is done in metallic gold to round out this solid offering.

Converse and world renowned artist Parra will launch a collab Chuck Taylor Hi Top for Converse’s Product (RED) series on August 28th, 2010, and MAJOR will be one of the select destinations that will launch this special edition shoe.

Artist, illustrator, graphic designer and music maker, Pieter “Parra” Janssen, forged his name as a graphic artist early-on. Hailing from Amsterdam, he is now widely known for his eye-catching colorful characters, cheeky posters, numerous design collaborations, his band Le Le and his clothing company Rockwell.

For his version of the Chuck Taylor All Star shoe, Parra chose to create a khaki suede version featuring a playful take on prep. In true Parra spirit, the pattern is a departure from the standard repeat print and features a more ironic version with cherries complete with legs and stiletto heels. “I wanted to incorporate the color red, and cherries came up. I wanted to go for a kind of preppy look, but I didn’t want it to be so serious, so I incorporated the cherry character!” says Parra. Even the lining evokes that country club feel with a menswear cotton twill in a stand-out dark pink. Accenting the shoe, monochromatic bright white rubber makes up the shoe’s rubber rands.

A champion of the underground, SSUR has been an influential and constant force in the downtown New York City art scene for the past 15 years. During his reign, SSUR has never stopped exploring complex themes in his often rebellious, provocative and thoughtful expressions.

SSUR’s version of the Converse Pro Leather 1976 shoe is no different. Like much of his work, the shoe is black–a nod to the color of asphalt and the grit of the streets.  Its silhouette is constructed of a clean, simple, black nubuck suede upper with subtle perforated Star Chevron branding and a clean neoprene tongue, giving it an unmistakably sleek and refined look and feel.  Metallic gold shark-tooth jewelry and an image of a “great black shark” on the foot bed reinforce status on the streets and a metallic gold embroidered SSUR signature and skull and crossbones round-out the overall design of the classic kicks.

Developed using a slightly updated model of the classic Pro Leather 1976, this version takes the classic style of the original and incorporates premium, modern updates.

This release is limited to 150 pairs in the US.  Available in US Men’s Whole Sizes only from 8 to 13.

Jordan 9 is one of all time favorite Jordan signature models of all time, despite the fact that it came out during his first retirement in 1993.  However, most people recognize the 9 from the feet of MJ’s statue in front of the United Center in Chicago, as well as the model of the baseball cleat that he wore during his short-lived baseball career.

On Saturday, August 7th, we witness the return of this iconic shoe in its original White/Black/True Red colorway, offered in small Toddler sizes to Men’s sizes.
