adidas chose MAJOR as one of only 22 brand partners throughout the world, to work on the aZX Series, and we are extremely proud of launching our “MAJOR ZX 600″ on September 20, 2008 at our Georgetown Showroom!

Doors will open at 10 a.m., with special guests dropping by all day, and more.  Plus an announcement on how to win the most limited special edition aZX shoe, which represents the letters X & Z, which will not be made available for sale anywhere, but one lucky winner will be able to claim in through the competition we are announcing at the launch of our shoes.  Along with our shoes, we will be launching the exclusive Neighborhood ZX 700 Boat, and Patta’s ZX 7000.  MAJOR will be the only place in the world with sizes ranging from 4 to 14 on MAJOR ZX 600.

We re-worked the ZX line’s most rugged silhouette, the ZX600, to effectively showcase the combination of all-terrain toughness with affluent touches of gold.  The shoe features 3 stripes made of Scotchlite reflective material, 3M contrast stitching, custom tri-color laces with Black, Orange, and Clay, along with 3 extra laces in each of the colors represented.  You will also see our attention to detail on custom top metal eyelet with words “adidas” and “MAJOR” stamped on it, and lacebars with the iconic Trinity logo stamped on it.

“Major’s ZX 600 is a good example of getting the most out of a collaboration, tweaking as many of the shoe’s elements as possible, and reminding us of C-Law’s fine efforts from last year. Which is a good thing. The crew from Washington DC have paid some careful attention to stitching, added gold elements, custom laces and some digi-camo on the heel panel – all in the knowledge that earthtones and orange are a winning combination. ”

BUT, we didn’t stop there!  After all, MAJOR is all about head to toe, and what would be a MAJOR release without some fresh fitteds to go with our MAJOR ZX 600!  We are giving you 3 different options to shine with this one, as we present you 3 different MAJOR aZX fitteds, manufactured by New Era.

Each of these fitted caps feature the Trinity Insider DigiCamo Embroidery to match the pattern on the heel of our ZX 600 kicks.  Black/Moss/Orange features an all wool construction with Orange undervisor that has been flipped to give that unique look.  Moss/Orange and Black/Orange fitteds feature Performance Fabric construction with standard Orange Visors.  All of them feature the identical 3 star embroidery on the back.

Nike introduced us to ACG Blazer last month, combining the best of the both worlds to deliver one rugged hybrid boot.  This month, Nike gets us ready for the months ahead with the Gore-Tex version of the ACG Blazers for both men & women.
